The Never-ending Weekend

Yup, I'm at the carnival once again. Granted I worked practically all this weekend. To reward myself I did some retail therapy. The Ulta ad came the other day and caught my eye. I picked up two K-Pak Joico liters and Smashbox Photo Finish Light. Additionally, I had two $3.50 off coupons, so the liters were each less than $10. I love that they have a pump. I'm excited to use this stuff again. My hair is in need of some TLC. I've only used the regular Photo Finish, so I'll have to see what the difference is. Excites for this week though!!! New MAC collection and maybe getting the naked palette. We'll see

Happy 4th! & farting dog

Happy fourth everyone! Here I am trapped at home till the fireworks tonight. I've been interning all weekend and today is finally my day off. I'm babysitting my Happy today. We are relaxing in bed as he is Dutch ovening me. Ummm is there Beano for dogs? They are silent, but deadly.

Can't wait for the new MAC collection to come out this week. Like everyone else I have been waiting for Stereo Rose MSF. I got rid of my So Ceylon and now regret it Also the Naked Palette from UD comes out too. Why do I have to be broke?! Life of an intern...

Welcome!

Hello. My name you ask... Nancy. I decided to start blogging all because I am completely unmotivated right now to write this paper on forests. Lets be honest, I don't care for forests and I certainly don't plan on making this a career. Oh well.

Anyways, I want to start this blog finally, because I have an addiction... with makeup. So I decided the way to kick of this blog is with makeup...duh.
My first post is going to be a project 5 pan a.k.a p5p. What is p5p you ask? Well p5p is when you do not buy any makeup until you finish up 5 makeup items of your choosing. Typically these items are things that are already on the tail end of their life. It was a little hard to come to terms that I need this intervention in my life especially since a new MAC collection came out. Honestly, I am becoming broke because of makeup and I need to start using what I have.

My first item: MAC Slimshine in Bare

I love this thing. It is so moisturizing and a great "hybrid" product due to the moisturizing like a lip balm and pigmentation of a lipstick. I already have my back-up in this, since I heard from youtubers that they may discontinue this. Also I don't think they are on the MAC website either

My second item: Clinique High Impact Mascara

This is a deluxe sample I got when I bought the 3 step system. I loved it so much, I also have a backup of this item. I know it isn't good to have for more than six months, so I just want to make sure I stretch it out long enough.

My third item: Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
& NARS Makeup Primer w/ SPF

These are both sample of the products that I got when I bought things. I have a full MAC Prep + Prime waiting for me and another VS primer that is comparable to the Smashbox primer. I really love the Smashbox, but the NARS gives me a white tint, but thankfully I cover that up with foundation or my studio fix powder.

My fourth item: MAC Brush Cleaner

I absolutely love this stuff and sad to see it is on its last tail end. I bought a spray bottle finally to put it on, so I don't waste as much. Can't wait until it all fits in the spray bottle so I can back to mac the bottle. Obviously, I'll get a replacement of this.

My fifth item: Mederma Scar Cream

I really think my scars have been noticeably better, since using this due to YouTuber Lorraine Stannick. Unfortunately, I do not think it will do a 180 and make my skin scarless, so I probably will not be repurchasing this due to $$$.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this blog post. I really needed this intervention. I may only pick up a gloss when I go home, but that is because I did not trust buying it online. Yay! Can't wait to finally bounce out tomorrow for spring break. I think we all need it here.

Love,
Nanners
